About Joe
Joe from a very early age always enjoyed performing especially singing and dancing. When he was 9 he joined a Musical Theatre group where the students were encouraged to have their own input of ideas.A local Musical/Drama group who performed for various charities also asked Joe to join them and he performed in many shows with both groups. At a young age Joe attended N.Y.M.T auditions and was successful and was invited to final auditions in London.
Joe was 11 when he was "dared" by friends to join a dance class at dRUMMONdANCE (Joe would never turn down a dare!) it was a Street Jazz lesson, that was it Joe was completely "hooked", he decided to go to the lesson every week. Showing a natural talent for dance Joe was encouraged to try Tap, Contemporary, Acro and Singing lessons. He soon became very proficient in all the dance techniques.
Joe can work within many different music genres and find comfort. From Gospel or Mowtown sounds, the Musical Theatre or his favoured Popular Music genre. Whether choosing ballads or more upbeat tunes, he has the ability to make them his own and to perform songs with life, energy and intrest, both from his own point of view and consideration for his audience
Joe is currently studying at UEL (university of East London) to gain a BA with Honours for Music Industry Management.
Alongside this he is continuing to write his own songs hoping to be able to record an album of his own work in the very near future.
Joe continues to work with Muddy Loop having performed with them recently at 'The Live Room' London and at 'Brixton Jamm', London. He will be performing with them again in December.
